Things you have got to do if you love old cities and are adventurous, love walking, climbing, swimming and happen to be in the area of Marbella. 

1. Ronda has a beautiful historical city with multiple hotspots. enjoy the views on every corner and bridge, relax on little plaza’s around fountains, stroll in the narrow picturesque streets and embrace the atmosphere and culture in the oldest city of Spain. 

2. When in Ronda, be sure to visit the Cat’s Cave or like they call it in Spain “Cueva de El Gato”. It is located approximately 20 minutes from Ronda and it is a real hidden paradise. To get there you can put the following destination into your GPS ‘Hotel Cueva del Gato, Ronda, Km 3,5, Calle Benaoján, 29370 Benaojan, Ronda, Málaga’. It’s a nice place to cool off because the water is very cold. Do not enter the cave without equipement and a guide because this is a very old cave en flash flooding is common in this cave. 

3. Benahavis Riverpool. Just before you enter Benahavis you will drive next to a river. During summer you can walk this river either down or up as you like. it’s a good start if you have never went canyoning and it is very fun to do, also the views are magnificent during this walk. During this walk you will also have to swim quite a lot so it is Important that you don’t take valuable devices with you, unless they are in a waterproof bag or something alike. 

4. Marbella, Wether you like culture and history or don’t, the old city of Marbella will swipe you of your feet. It’s a very cosy town with very pleasant people. streets are covered with little shops and restaurant, there is a lot of life and the vibes are good. Shortly said: the perfect city for a romantic.
